So, what is this great complicated form that is going to get Mexico to pay for THE WALL (a.k.k. Trump's Folly - this is what it will be called in future history books)?

Kelleyanne Conjob was on the Today Show this morning and when Matt asked if she could explain what a "complicated form" means.

She responded "yes I can, and Mr. Trump will" and then proceeded not to answer the question!

I understand it is complicated!!! But could we please have a couple of details? Mr. England? Mr. Skyblue? bobby? Buehler? Buehler? anyone?

Trump will pretty much get away with everything else in his agenda... EXCEPT the idea of getting Mexico to pay for the wall. Undoubtedly, he is probably thinking that some form of punitive tariff against Mexico is going to do it.

It won't. Mexico will retaliate, and the victims will be all the businesses that currently make their money in exports to Mexico... AND their employees. Trade wars never work.

I predict this will be Trump's biggest failure, with respect to his political base.

Choose the form of the destroyer.

It's pretty clear to me what "a complicated form" means.

His strategy is this:

1) US pays for the wall. The precise funding mechanism from Mexico will remain unspecified
2) Simultaneously, he does his best to blow up NAFTA which will cause a certain amount of turmoil in the Ex-Im trade figures with Mexico
3) The instant some Trump lackey is able to find an interpretation of the fluctuating trade figures that either a) shows a 15B increase in exports to Mexico or b) shows a 15B reduction in the trade deficit Trump will claim that Mexico has now paid for the wall.

Yup, and the reality of "the wall" will conform to whatever funds are available without any significant change in illegal immigration. The important thing is that "I built the wall" just like " I built this casino"
