Good work. Looks stout enough to land your dink against. I assume that in actual use there's a keeper so that if the boat rolls in the wake from some rude sole, the ladder won't lift off.

Yes, I like that very much. It's giving me some ideas.

          Thanks.

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.

Thank you.. Boat is Thomas Gillmer's blue moon yawl , named Tayo Mar .

In few days I try to explain how I did..

I used Apachi wood (known as the sauna wood ) It is expensive because of less heat transfer capacity . Due to this property , it is prefered to use for sauna sittings.

I used this wood due to two resons. First one , it is light but enough strength. Second is it was free..

I think it is a good choice for hot Meditrenian sea ..

I used brass fo all connections. and brass bolt , etc.

I have samll boat 22 feet all and no enoug place for both ledder and boom support. I planned to use as a boom support , when iti is not needed.

The Blue Moon is a wonderful design. The original "Blue Moon" used to be berthed at the Center for Wooden Boats in Seattle many years ago. I wonder what became of it?
