Thanks, ISIS

Aid agencies said Islamic State militants had set fire to at least 19 oil wells in the Qayarrah district, south of Mosul, as they were forced to retreat by Iraqi forces. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-12-01/mosul-oil-fields-burn/8085078

It's a thing that happens in a war zone whether it's Saddam torching fields or the US bombing ISIS controlled refineries.

What burns my ass is they can do this, but the government
is all bent out of shape about cow farts.

What burns my ass is they can do this, but the government
is all bent out of shape about cow farts. There's a cure for that. Research out of PEI last month was that feeding cows certain types of seaweed dramatically reduces the amount of carbon dioxide they fart out. Really and truly. No mention in the article about how the cows liked the taste.

Don't light them.

Btw do you understand the difference between carbon in the carbon cycle of living plants and animals and carbon that was tucked away in the ground for 60million years old then released in this century?

I don't think "the government" is that worried about cow farts.
All the worry is coming from the RW wackos!
Are human farts less problematic than cow farts? Cows have a multiple impact, first from the cow fart and then from the human that ate the cow, and lastly from the pile of poo left behind by the humans.
