View Full Version : (re) planking a Lyman 26'

I have recently purchased a 1968 Lyman 26' Cruisette. Fundamentally, the boat is in good shape, however, needs some work below the waterline (don't they all?!).

At an rate, the ribs, stringers, etc. are sound, so I'm trying to get a rough sense as to what I'm looking at for 1. complete new bottom 2. new bottom from midship aft to transom 3. cost to replace planks as needed.

Any and all insight is appreciate.

Thanks very much!

Put some photos up. Host them somewhere, link here with the photo button (tree), uncheck the box that says... Retrieve remote file and reference locally

Also, lots of Lyman threads already here, not easy to find though without using an external search engine.
