I've always wanted to get a tattoo.... it would read, 'Born to be Mild' :)

Back to the subject, tattoos have always creeped me out. Even the pretty ones.

Met a bloke crossing Grafton Street Bridge, in Auckland, with this sort of moko, at night in the weird light of the streetlamps, and nearly shat myself.

He said 'Lo, mate.

I said 'Lo.

No problem except in my head.

^ Reminds me of the character Ben Kingsley played in Ender's Game.

Saw a recent story that the inks used in tattoos may have heavy metals, etc. Not nice stuff.

I suppose a discrete tatoo here or there is OK, but as rule I think they are a turn off on women when overdone.

From what I've seen, the women who get extensive tattoos tend to run with the guys who get extensive tattoos. Must not be a turn off for them. Not my style to get a tattoo but to each their own.

Cheers,

Bobby

Back before Judith an I were married, she was visiting her sister in Tahoe, and I was comin out, and she sed, 'Ya know, you gotta fly into Reno.'
An I sed, 'Sure'
So she sez, 'well, while we're there why don't we get married?'
Now I had tried that once without my Boys with me, and they are still sore about it, so I sez,
'No, not without the Boys'
So she sez, 'Oh. Ok. By the way, I got a tattoo'. So it was a skate on the marriage thing, but I got (another) tattoo.
Which is ok.
No bumper stickers? I got one that reads 'Building a better community through Roller Derby'

Doesn't look like a fun conversationalist but I could be wrong

I have long forgotten the (book)(article)(story)(fiction) where I first heard this, but it was concerning La Legione in Assam... they were looking for Allemagines in 1948 and the best way to discover them was to have them take a shower.

The Schutzstaffel tattoo was in the armpit.
