They rescue him, and he trashes them.... what a nice guy.

Donald Trump was trapped in an elevator for 30 minutes ahead of a Friday rally before being rescued by the Colorado Springs Fire Department, the Denver Post (http://www.denverpost.com/2016/07/30/donald-trump-criticism-fire-marshal/) reports.

Within an hour, Trump bashed the fire marshal at his rally.

Said Trump: “So I have to tell you this. This is why our country doesn’t work. We have plenty of space here. We have thousands of people outside trying to get in. And we have a fire marshal that said, ‘Oh, we can’t allow more people.’ The reason they won’t let them in is because they don’t know what the hell they’re doing.”

The talking heads on TV today all agreed that he could win the election. They did not say he will, but that he could.

And none of these stories about his inappropriate behavior seem to make a difference.

It is truly sad.

Self important people more concerned with their rights than their responsibilities are the norm in popular public culture, so why should politicians, or the populace, behave differently?

American Idol is on the air...

It's mind boggling and telling. The divisions are getting worse.

Trump also is quoted as alleging that the fire marshal is “probably a Democrat.”

He really does not care what he says or does.

Imagine the Charles Schultz' Peanuts strip, the character PigPen—but evil. Evil Pig Pen, he carries his personal zone of obnoxioiusness around with him like a cloud. He's a black hole from which not even decency can escape.

Bloody idiot Fire Marshall. Should have left him in the lift.

The ultimate irony would be if he is a Tea Party Republican.

Bloody idiot Fire Marshall. Should have left him in the lift.

Lifted the trap door and pissed on the bugger. Then let him contemplate his mortality.

You guys just don't learn, do you?

Ralph Nader came to the conclusion that all his efforts to expose nasty behaviour just ended up being publicity for those he was trying to nail.

Imagine being one of the "little people" in his administration.

I am SURE he'll be able to surround himself with the best and brightest. They'll be THRILLED to work for such a supportive and respectful boss.

The train left that station months ago.

At least the ones who he allows to steal millions. Or billions.

A much more extreme definition of ingratitude is murdering the citizens of a country that gives you refuge.
