Fox News continues to employ contributor Walid Phares while Donald Trump's campaign pays him $13,000 a month. Phares regularly appears on the network to boost Trump on foreign policy issues.

Here was I wondering before I opened the thread if it was on the ethics of the Democratic Party.

BTW Is paying a media contributor illegal?
Surely he will pay taxes on it?

I doubt that there is any problem with the Trump campaign consulting any expert for developing their platform.

No problem for Trump. Covertly buying coverage on Fox is not illegal so not a problem for Fox either since Fox credibility is about zero even among those who parrot Fox falsehoods. It's only a problem for the Trumpkins who use Fox as a crutch to maintain life in their fact free universe.

That's pretty expensive "free" media coverage, if you ask me. No wonder his campaign was broke.

I wonder how the RNC and the party feel about their money being spent that way. Perhaps they'll start wanting controll over that, now that he's the official party candidate.
