Perfect for those cars, I'd never own a red car myself though. I did have one way back but I've tested myself twice over the last decade and managed to resist the impulse/ desire. There was one a couple of weeks ago I just should have bought for no other reason than it was priced wrong, but , no , it was red. Sold in a couple of days.

now if i could just find the quote about owning a convertible. . . :D

Thats funny, where did you drag that up from?
I don't do red and I don't do convertables. For years I told the kids that the only reason ' that guy' didn't have a roof is he couldn't afford it, told some other persons kid exactly the same about myself t'other day.
Anyway...those are my rules and they existed until I reached the age where I no longer cared about cliche's and what people might think any more.
I also don't particularly like loud exhausts or little briteesh sports cars. Heh .

Couple we know were both looking for used cars a few years ago. He researched for some months……….. and bought a lemon. She went into a big yard and said "I want a red car". It went without trouble for 6 years whereupon she bought another red one.:ycool:

Famous last words? I can think of two different lines, usually uttered as a pair but not always.

"Hold my beer for a second."

"Hey guys, watch this!"

I like the apparently false remark attributed to King George V.I've been to Bognor and quite understand why he would have felt that way.

I think the "God damn you" as they reportedly killed him off in time to make the, dare I say, "deadline" for the morning newspapers is better than any "Bugger Bognor" story.
