That's a merit badge I could get behind, so to speak.

Also, Hooters is a ridiculous concept. It's hard to get too offended by mental mastur.....

Agreed. The photos seemed pretty innocent. A temptress in a teapot, really.

Hmmm - I see the complaining mothers are all fat slobs. How about charging them with child abuse for what they serve up as "food" to their kids?

I was going to suggest keeping abreast of developments, but on second thought, it would just lead to more juvenile tittering...

What a nice set of girls. You don't suppose they supplied this young scout his first tent and a way to stay warm on his first sleep away?

I was a Cub, a Scout, an Explorer, and a member of Alpha Phi Omega, the service fraternity for college-aged former Scouts. When my own kid was old enough I served as Scout Master, Scout Committee and Venture Chairman.

Never got to see a single Scout-directed Hoot.

But seriously...Hooters is silly and their occasional support of Scout activities is irrelevant. When I served directing my kid's troop we taught our guys to be respectful and realistic of women.

Two, count 'em, TWO parents complain and it makes the television news?

Squeaky wheel, and all that.

Not about squeaky wheels, I think so much as selling advertising space around the newscast.

So a few pretty girls in shorts, tee-shirts, warm-up jackets and ball caps come out to a scout camp for an afternoon to play some outdoor games with the kids and accept thanks for their sponsorship of the camp. What the **** is the problem? They boys will see a lot more exposure of T&A when they return to school on Monday...

no one seems to question the two parental units as to their contribution to the endeavor, besides supplying the children

Hooters girls are somebody's daughters too.

All hype and little more. They are less provocative than what you see on the beach every day.
