    Doper's dee-lite

A couple recently started renting the house next door. EVERY morning, at almost exactly 8AM, I hear prolonged coughing coming from their backyard. From the smell wafting through my window, it seems she is toking some particulalry potent weed.

The thing is, she then goes to work. When she and he get home after work, it's cough cough cough all over again.

These are two middle aged white people, not Bob Marley. I find it rather remarkable.

Explain to them they can use 200 proof alcohol to make a tincture and avoid the smoking part.

This is Washington State. You can buy butter off the shelf.

I intend to try a recipe for making coconut oil-canna-taffy. Add lecithin when it goes into the oven, for a more potent edible. I'll keep my orthodox baked goods to a strict minimum.

Pot needs heat to make the non-psychotropic THC-A into the psychotropic THC.

my neighbor gets cranky mid day..

He starts throwing tools about and revving his engine like a teenager.

I tell him go smoke a joint and chill out.

                  He does..

I'm really thankful he is not a drinker..

Here is a recipe, and , yes you bake it at 240 deg prior to extraction.

Now that you're good and deafened from last night's Independence Day celebrations, it's time to do something productive with your recovery day—like, say, brewing alcohol-derived cannabis concentrates that will have you melting into your couch all day tomorrow.

I think that is a pretty sad story. I don't have any issues with recreational pot, I would feel the same way about someone who feels the need to start their day with a shot and a beer.
