A Cruz sex scandal?

Not that I care, one way or the other. I care a thousand times less about a candidate's personal behavior, than I do about their policies and agenda.... but this is getting pretty dirty:

Political insiders and operatives on Twitter are buzzing about new rumors concerning Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX). This news comes just after the 12th Republican debate which was hosted on CNN, and days before key primaries in Florida and Ohio.

The Stop Trump PAC has been hinting at a major news bombshell for days. But apparently, the supposed news has less to do about Trump than it does about Cruz!

The buzz focuses on Cruz and Tea Party activist Katrina Pierson. Pierson is a former consultant for Cruzís United States Senate campaign and is now the national spokeswoman for businessman Donald Trumpís presidential campaign, which makes this a particularly uncomfortable situation.

Sounds juicy, but if voters need this to convince them how to vote then there is little hope for them. Every voter in this country has been given more than adequate reason to vote against the GOP this year.

As long as it discourages the republican fateful and helps them stay home in November, I say go for it!

A Clinton/Drumpf general election campaign would be marked by some real gutter moves by him, followed by savage Clinton counterattacks. The ensuing spectacle will not help our international reputation.

Actually, the story is that there are 5 of them, and three have been ID'd in the story. Looks like family values Ted's bid for the White House is in for a rough time.

We've had a couple of ex drunks, one of whom was a womaniser but ran a cracker of a government. At least one pm with a 'mistress', who cares. Is it just the sleaze press at work, or are the press too dumb these days to write about policy, or are the readers too dumb to read about them?
The place comes across as a nation of prudish hypocrites.

I think not elf, I meant publicly prudish whilst the opposite in behaviour.
"Globally, porn is a $97 billion industry, according to Kassia Wosick, assistant professor of sociology at New Mexico State University. At present, (1/2015) between $10 and $12 billion of that comes from the United States."

One source refers to pornography as "mainstream".

It seems all the evidence is from the National Enquirer and the editor is a friend of Trump's. Pretty soon Norm will be posting about blue aliens warping minds with ray guns.

How about some diligence Norm, you're becoming the man RonW accuses you of being.

Don't shoot the messenger. I posted this thread quite a while BEFORE it became national news... not because I thought the story had any credence (I frankly wouldn't know), but because it was newsworthy.

I did say:

Not that I care, one way or the other. I care a thousand times less about a candidate's personal behavior, than I do about their policies and agenda....

However, the story could be true, in which case it's interesting because it's yet another case of the hypocrisy of a candidate who presumes the mantle of 'family values'.....

...or it's false, and possibly was planted by Trump or Trump's minions.

Either way, it was worth posting about.

So you post a story knowing it could have no cred then admit the democrats have no values..

Then you give us a " possibly" .

LOL.
