of debate

Ben Carson, the retired neurosurgeon who briefly surged to the top of national polling last fall before a series of fumbles on foreign policy sent him to the bottom tier of Republican presidential candidates, declared that he will not attend tomorrow’s Republican presidential debate in Detroit.
Carson followed up with a statement that he does “not see a political path forward in light of last evening’s Super Tuesday primary results,” and will be giving a speech regarding his political future on Friday. We all know what that means...

A sad example of a Not Ready For Prime Time Player. Politically, any way. A fine surgeon, no doubt.

Well, the expression is usually 'drops out'.. but considering what Republicans have been doing to America.. perhaps 'pulls' is more apt.

Thank you that was my intent. ;)
Responding to "...sad" I thought it was entirely age appropriate.
