Does anyone know where I can find 3/4" bronze T track or supplies to make it? I have searched all the suggested Bronze sites from previous threads and 1" seams to be the smallest they make these days. My current track (which I would like to extend and replace some very short sections with longer ones) is home-made with 3/4" flatbar on top of a wooden spacer. I had planned to make my own, but 3/4" bronze flatbar seems equally hard to find. Brass is available, but seems like it wouldn't be suitable.
I wanted to stick with bronze to match my other hardware and 3/4" since I can't afford to completely replace all the track and cars. The boat in question is a 1927 B-class sloop and the track runs along the toerail with blocks on cars for sheeting the foresail. Thanks.

Jimmy,
I have never seen 3/4" T-track, but you can get 3/4" flat bar through Alaskan Copper for a very reasonable price. They have an on-line catalogue with all their products. Check it out at http://www.alascop.com/
There is a branch in Vancouver.
Cheers,
Don

I just talked to them and a few others they referred me to. They tell me bronze flatbar used to be very common but is now very difficult to get and not available in 3/4". Brass is readily available. Does anybody know whether brass would be strong enough for this application?
I do have a short section of 3/4" t-track that I picked up at a consignment store, so it does exist, but it is hard to find.

I don’t think brass should be a problem at all as long as it has reasonable thickness. You won’t be using it underwater, so galvanic corrosion isn’t going to be an issue. Most of the ¾” sail track sold these days is stamped out of pretty thin brass anyway. Besides, brass will be a lot cheaper than bronze.
