    Synchronizing 24 carburetors isn't something I really want to think about - or is it only twelve doubles? . OTOH, I guess if you have enough money to buy the boat, you also have enough to pay some unfortunate fellow to do that. I like the black boat back by the wall, though.

      Synching the carbs was my first thought as well. Impressive machinery though.

        You only need to do the 12 barrels at a time. The trick after that falls to the helmsman to synch the two motors, especially just off idle. Piece of cake if you're Italian.

                            Nope - have to disagree - a stethoscope with the center piece removed & the 2 hoses going into 2 carbs - so you can hear one carb in each ear. The audio balancing gets 'em way closer than the Unisyn.
