I'm looking for paint for the weekender (plywood) and wonder what is available. Is epoxy the only reasonable choice and how much would I need/cost per gal etc. Just looking for a high and low for estimation purpose.
it's a 16 foot weekender
BTW I'm using epoxy on some of it now...it's old and certinly not the color I want but expect to sand a lot off again somewhere in the process anyway...think of it as primer/sealer

True Epoxy paint like Shurwin William's TileCad HS
is a good paint for bi;dges and interior work. It will chalk if left in the sun. One of the thing's this product was developed for is painting the interior of water towers.
It also makes an Outstanding paint for your shop or garage floor. Hot tires from the car will not effect it. Tile Cad HS replaces Tile Cad II. It's cost is $38gal for each part A & B

There are uses where epoxy paint, SW or Devoe, is better than anything else I've tried. It's extremely tough and long lasting. On cockpit soles and decks, I have over 5 years use with no touchup needed. The chalking in sunlight and low gloss can be an issue but often not a significant problem.
Don't know where the $76 came from. The above are less than half that.
Kirby's is, no doubt, a fine paint but, underfoot and some other uses, I'll take the epoxy every time.
