Just scored a lot of Starrett and Mitutoyo on Fleabay. With shipping, $70 for

Starrett No 4 Grad 18" grooved rule.
Starrett No 35 Grad 600mm grooved rule.
Starrett 500mm straight edge rule
Starrett No C616R 6" straight edge rule
Starrett No C334 150mm straight edge rule
Mitutoyo 12" grooved rule
Mitutoyo 6" spring divider
Mitutoyo depth gauge

The Starret grooved rules should fit nicely on my Starret combination square head.

🍺👍🏻

Why all the rules?

|:)

The depth guage is probably worth seventy bucks by itself, I'm guessing.

Why all the rules?

OK, but just remember the Butch Cassidy axiom: "There are NO rules in a knife fight!"

+1 I actually broke down and got a Starrett square because I was tired of squares whose sense of "right" when it came to angles was
. . .
acute

:)

So, what are you actually building with these tools? We see plenty of tool 'collections' about this place.
