Hello and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all on the WBF. I am looking for help locating old "Southcoast" blocks which had bronze frames and bearings but a rubberized shell. If anyone has some of these old blocks or a source for them could you please let me know. I would like remanufacture them with wood shells for my boat.
Thanks in advance--also intersested in any source for wood shell blocks.

I usually see a fair number of Southcoast blocks being sold at marine fleamarkets and also on EBay.

For wood shelled blocks try Conrad Blocks at http://www.hypermax.net.au/~agetilbr/ ,a very good product,roller bearings ,bronze sheaves and reasonable price.
