Our daughter graduated with a BSc last weekend, with a high enough GPA to be invited back for the fouth year honours program. Her Mum and I were pretty chuffed.
Our girl rings her Mum in tears today - finally managed to establish that she had just got an email to say she was the recipient of an academic scholarship for fourth year Food Science students, that covers all her course fees for next year, and a useful cash stipend.
Between that and the Bank of Dad, the evil student loan will not be getting any bigger!
She isn't the sort of kid who blows her own trumpet, and I think she was pretty blown away that this came her way. You go, girl!

Congratulations.... nothing's better for a Dad, than to be proud of his daughter. Trust me, I know... I have TWO of them :)

Hell, yes! And she can tell you why it tastes good too. That is after she's set up and analysed the blind tasting test to figure out if your perception of what she's concocted is normal or not.
Part of her course next year focusses on brewing. Looking forward to hearing about that!
