It's all about how you look at it. Like in my mind, there's no such thing as a mainland NZ. It's all island. :D

Ironic, as Mainland is really a state of mind.

To islanders, mainlanders are 'come-from-aways'.

Mainland is cheese.

The island is the primordial source - the goat's nipple.

New Zealand must be some kind of special snowflake. *

There's a new trend in advertising by co's that make magical elixirs and pills that (promise to) cure everything from indigestion to obesity, "You'll be back in that prom dress in no time! And it's all thanks to a compound from sea grass that's only found in the waters off the coast New Zealand". Talk about something in the water. One ad claims the remedy was "discovered by NZ Aboriginies 3000 years ago and is only available to you through this ad. (insert animated figure of a guy wearing a loin cloth and shaking a spear) Call now for a second free bottle".

I wish I was kidding.
