A visiting American friend has told me of visiting a man, Edmund Ballerim(?) in Paris who with a partner was rescuing sunken boats from the Seine and restoring them. He told her of raising an old sunken launch and a search in the US for an original replacement engine.
I do not have the name right, or he has no net profile easily available to me, all I get is very expensive charter yachts, barges or plastic gin palaces.
Out of Paris a little, up or down river I don't know. Any clues anyone?

Might be this Edmond Ballerin, in Chatou. He seems to belong to an association restoring local boats. Try through FB:

That is a very pretty boat.It can be worth looking in the nooks and crannies around the waterfronts of France, there are some real gems there.Among other projects, there is a six metre in the workshop of the maritime museum in Rouen.
