Just got home from seeing "Come From Away" at the Seattle Rep Theater.
It is a wonderful musical about the 38 planes that landed at Gander, Newfoundland on 9/11/2001, and the Newfies who adopted the thousands of passengers who were stranded for 5 days.
It is an absolutely wonderful show, written by a young Canadian couple who spent a month in Gander in 2011 with hundreds of "Plane People" who had returned for the 10th anniversary.
The music is fabulous, the story is wonderful, and the feeling, when leaving the theater was truly uplifting.

To all those, who have kissed the cod, I salute you.

I'll look out for that one. My first ever time flying was 1990, London Gatwick to JFK and we had to stop at Gander for fuel because of heavy headwinds. It looked an amazing wild place and I wanted to get off and explore.
