We've another promising local tale besides "In the Heart of the Sea" - "Their Finest Hours" bodes to be high on everyone's list.

I don't have a favorite but adding to some named, there's "Wind" and "Dead Calm".

Edited to add: Sky BLue got there while I was typing. Stormvogle never looked finer.

Not out yet. It's the account of the Pendleton rescue.

Pease is doing some repair work on the actual boat.

"Waterworld," naturally. Seriously though, I've been introducing my son to nautical classics over the last few years, and the first two were vintage classics for certain: "Mutiny on the Bounty" with Charles Laughton and Clark Gable, and "Moby Dick" with Gregory Peck. Been meaning to find the more recent 'Bounty' with Brando, as I've not seen it in decades. Laughton as Bligh is one of the finest roles ever played in my snotty opinion.
