Any of you folks ever live under a tile roof? I guarantee you that the one in the video will leak pretty dramatically in a hard rain. The traditional curved ones work a lot better, and are no harder to make. Not a good idea in earthquake country, though; that roof is heavy.

Any of you folks ever live under a tile roof? I guarantee you that the one in the video will leak pretty dramatically in a hard rain. The traditional curved ones work a lot better, and are no harder to make. Not a good idea in earthquake country, though; that roof is heavy.

As the tile choice was never explained, perhaps he was just going for the most primitive? And as for rain, it rains a lot there, that building will be a ruin in five years. :)
