Coast Guard spokescaptain hopes the crew is well sealed in lifeboats. He believed they had time to abandon ship and thinks their survival chances are good if they did.

Should be EPIRBs on every one of that ship's lifeboats. If no signal has been received by now, I assume the worst.

Three days since she's been heard from. Latest coast guard report says conditions in search grid were twenty foot seas, 100 knot wind, less than 500' visibility.
