I am looking for a Gray Marine diesel engine number D129, originally from the U.S. Navy, double-end wooden whaleboats. Need complete engine or starter.

I know that at least most (& I believe all) Gray Marine diesels of that vintage were GM (General Motors) diesels. I'll bet if you call it a GM you won't have any trouble finding parts, (of course that would be the old high block design so some parts are different).
