Mast partner wedges

Finally stepped the masts on LEEWAY. Now comes the question of wedges. Should the wedges be place before or after the stays and shrouds are tweaked? Or a combination?

Before, and hardened up after, if necessary.

Many thanks......I thought that they should go in first, other wise the base at the the partners might shift. They are both seated very well with a talisman under both.
