They of the "19 Kids And Counting" Josh Duggar Executive Director and Executive Vice-President Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Jerry Boykin

Yesterday on Fox Business Report with Maria Bartiromo, Gen. Boykin said the way to victory is:

1. Arm the Kurds regardless of what Turkey, Syria, Iraq, or anyone says.

2. Heavily bomb ISIS wherever they may be found.

3. Unleash our (USA) Special Forces.

Since his retirement in 2007 and a new career as a popular conservative Christian speaker, General Boykin has described Islam as “a totalitarian way of life” and said that Islam should not be protected under the First Amendment.

CBS News Correspondent David Martin reports Boykin has shown church groups photos he took of Mogadishu with black slashes in the sky which he says did not come from any defect in the camera or film.

"Whether you understand it or not, it is a demonic spirit over the city of Mogadishu. Ladies and gentlemen, that's not a fake, that's not a farce," Boykin said.

What part of "Congress has a role here" do they not remember?

Black slashes in the sky?

So how does that address the millions of Sunni Iraqis disenfranchised by the Iraqi Shia "gov't" we recognize, the larger movement of militant Salafism that finds support from our traditional allies in the region, and why sacrifice these special forces against a movement that thrives on anti-western sentiment that can utilize a nearly inexhaustible supply of suicide bombers?

There is no victory injecting ourselves into a conflict that is constantly fueled by billions in petrodollars and failing nation states.

I think he might actually believe that his god is the only 'real' one and is on his side, and against all evidence will help.

How could America hope to survive depending on Congress, for yea they are not among the Godly? More concretely, what's the point of a lifetime eating S to become a General if you can't tell Congress to F off?

True. :(

What I'd like to know is why the operatives of Rupert Murdoch found it advisable to put the General and his plans for war on a Sunday afternoon show ostensibly devoted to a review of the week's financial news.
