That sounds really good. Here I had a small pepperoni pizza made with blue cheese on a low-carb flatbread and a bunch of sauteed veggies topped with oyster sauce.

Country fried chicken with mashed potatoes, gravy, and a biscuit.

Yeah, in Massachusetts, no less!

kfc?

Hahahaha... Nope, a local chain called '99'..... I eat there once a week, with my mother. You would be hard pressed to find 'southern' food in MA, although there are a few places in the Boston area, since Boston is definitely a foodie town.

Now this may sound strange, but the best biscuits I have ever eaten are the ones from... Wait for it.... mcDonalds. Tender, flavorful, and obviously made with a lot of fat. Probably not pork fat, but still.... They're delicious.

Well, next time I'm in Alabama, I'll ask you for a recommendation for where I can get a good biscuit.

Meatballs, no potatoes, salad , no potatoes, zucchini , no potatoes, one low carb cookie that tastes like cardboard, did I mention no potatoes?
