Bought some Sailor boy crackers at Costco.

Have seen it in Alaska but not here.

My wife did not care for it and went back to matzo with butter..

Even with chopped liver she did not want it.

I think Sailor boy is thicker.

Threw some on the floor of the truck for snacks.

Best hardtack for me was to starboard. Port tacks just weren't the same.

The bag of gingersnaps always seems to get left open, they harden up, then they really stick in your teeth. Mmmm mmm good.

I'm with your wife, bobbys. I love me some matzo, but you do need to keep the prunes handy if you eat too much.

We have a box of those here, I leave them out in the rain for a couple of weeks to soften them up before I can chew them.

When I wuz first married I worked on a framing crew.

I worked with Polish guys just over.

At lunch they ate saltines with lard..

Pretty smart guys though they saved up every penny to buy a house..

I could drink soda and a cupcake but I always had a sandwitch, The lard thing seemed strange..

Maybe it was a common thing in Poland.

Sired by the great Man O' War, Hardtack was sire to Seabiscuit.

The late lamented Crown Pilot crackers…when they stopped making those in 2008, a big bit of all things New England-y died that day.

RIP Crown Pilot….

Makes them perfect for the boat: stowed aboard they don't get soggy.
