In Connecticut, a marine parts manufacturer in the 60s. Any info on them?

WOW, I though I'd do a bit of looking & the first thing I came across said that Merriman winches have been out of production for almost 20 years. (Last I knew they were still in business)I guess I've got to crawl out from under a rock or something !

I have been meaning to ask this question when I got round to it and seeing this post! Does anyone know of a supplier who can convert old Merriman part# for currently available equivalents eg: Merriman Fig. 378 Bz turnbuckle. I'm building an Al Mason Design daysailor plans drawn in March 1960.

              Thanks
              Darrel
