Hello,
Does anyone have information on a wooden boat supplier in the Philadelphia area? I can swear there is one but I can't find it. Thanks.

What kind of stuff are you looking for? Goldbergs in So Philly closed up, M&E across the bridge in Jersey is out of business, There are some places for lumber and limited hardware but I usually use Jamestown distibutors or some other mail order place.

Gary,

Your thinking of Shoreway Marine on 73, they just relocated to smaller digs just around the corner on Cooper road. Incedently, Shoreway is a spin off of Goldbergs but specializing in fiberglass boats and fishing equip.

The place you are refering to on 322 is Boaters World, again fiberglass boats, water toys and fishing equipment only very expensive.

M&E has been closed for 5 years now...

I've been ordering from Jamestown also, but I could swear there was a new place in Philly along the lines of Jamestown. I may be wrong, that has heppend before.

You might also check with the folks at the Wooden Boat Factory. Very nice people! A nice place to visit if you are in the area. Only a small shop but our kind of people!
