15+6=17 Oh, my. That's a problem with arranged marriages; it's possible to be deceptive about of a lot of things. I can't blame her in the least.

My bride asked me to solve 1+1. Luckily I answered correctly and she did not have to use the frying pan.

Better than getting the wrong answer to: "If my sister is three years younger than me and visits us for a week, how many nights before you slip into her room?"

Maybe she was worried he couldn't multiply? ;)

Good for her... not just for placing a premium on education (even at such a low level), but for standing up for what she wants.

Everyone settles in marriage a little bit, but everyone should know that they have the right and authority to set a level below which they don't have to settle.

With my phobia of math, it's a good thing Jane didn't ask me that question 35 years ago! June 28th will be the day. And, no, her idea of the perfect 35th anniversary does not include spending the day at the WoodenBoat Show at Mystic!

But luckily you can count up to 35 no problem ;) Luckily, I was married in 1980, making the math a bit simpler than an odd year.
