I've noticed that my "perfect" photos of "Matriarch" now look cloudy......like looking through bottle bottoms......at least they do from here. I have no idea why. Anyway, I have found that if I "right click" on the photo and choose the option "view original image", they revert to the clear state. I have tried it with other poster's photos and it works equally well.

Try clearing the cache on your web browser, or even using another one like Firefox. What happens if you hit the "refresh/reload" button?
Either Photobucket is cheating by displaying low-rez images, or more likely your browser has cached the images and they are stored as low-rez.

For what it's worth, they look terrific from here -- both subject and photo quality. It must be in your system.

The images look just fine to me so I think you are either dealing with a browser problem (I have never come across the "view original image" option -- what browser are you using?), or, if you are dealing with AOL then you may have a combined ISP/browser problem. One of the many reasons why I despise AOL is because they seem to think that most people surfing the web do not want to see clear pictures so they, by default, degrade the image quality of images on web pages viewed on the AOL browser. They claim this is to speed up downloads but I think it mostly has to do with saving them money by reducing traffic on their network. Anyway, end of rant. Sorry.
To get back on point, what browser are you using, and are you using AOL?

Hell, I do boats. Computers are way out of my league. I have MSN. That's all I know. The important thing is that OTHERS can see the photos clearly. I figure computers are just a fad anyway.......they'll disappear like 8-track tapes as soon as they come up with pocket telepathy.
