The comet looks nice.... but,
All seams have been reefed clean and re-caulked with polyurethane marine caulk. doesn't sound really traditional, eh?

I've seen the Comet. It is right up the road from me. He did a very nice job restoring it but I might stop short of calling it museum quality. I think he had something like $4,000 (or was it $6,000) on it all last summer but Southern Vermont is not exactly a hot spot for boat sales. It really is a very small boat.

Hey, the D-38 is 10 min from Mom and Dad's place. The guy says restoration services are available. Maybe I should see how he feels about Owens motorboats.
