It's all Obama's fault...even though he was in India at the time.

No, nobody's going to mention it. In fact, we were doing this on purpose. Just waiting for somebody to put up a thread titled "Nobody going to mention the White House drone attack" so we could tell whomever (FIIK) posted said thread that we are well and truly 'over' threads that start "Why no thread on?" instead of the infinitely less smug "Thread title on whatever it was I wanted to discuss."

Consider yourself admonished.

Oh noes!
What I really wanted to discuss was the match between Bobby Fischer and Boris Spassky, in which Spassky wuz robbed the same way that Jersey Joe Walcott waz, despite the fact that the Bomber controlled the center ring until Jersey Joe decked him. Why didn't this matter? Use your Blue Books and explain why.

(As Professor, did I say this test was going to be easy?)

It wasn't an attack. It was operator error.

Ya think any president has experience caring for a child 24/7?

Probably just the President's kids taking more of a leadership role than dear old dad.

The drone was flown by a drunken DoD employee, from a nearby apartment. He works (worked?) for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

Fired?

Nah. They'll be debriefing that guy for a while. Better to keep him on the payroll.

It gives them a certain leeway.

We ain't heard the last of this business. There, probably, are wannabee assassins already looking to trade in their Kalashnikovs for a drone to attack te White House with.

The "drone" in question is a remote control toy which cost $60.00 and weighs in at 5.5 ounces. It has no payload capability. Much ado about nothing.

The wannabee assassin can surely get more than 60 bucks for his Kalashnikov, no?
