OK, this may have been answered before and I forgot, but...

I have a MD11C missing some stuff. found a guy on city island, NY with a load of parts (tranny's, exhaust manifolds, several water pumps, pistons, etc) and he only wants $300 bucks for them. It's like 5 milk crates full, and a complete hand starting assembly.

The question is, will this stuff fit on my MD11C if it's from a MD2B. Someone told me this before and I forgot what then answer was...

Thanks so much guys!

Thad, if you have bits that you find out won't work, I'll take some spares for my MD2B ;)

The ultimate source of Volvo Penta parts is Helmut's Marine Service, 619 Canal Street, San Rafael, CA. 415-453-1001

Helmut has personal connections with Volvo and can seemingly obtain any Volvo part which ever existed, or so it's said. Nice guy. They express ship parts all over the world. If you are stranded in Tonga with a dead Volvo, Helmut's the guy you call!

I also might be interested in some MD2B parts you don't need. I have a parts engine, but the part I need often seems to be broken on my parts engine too. I can usually get the parts here, but they often want the weight of the part in gold or some body part as payment.
