Check out Glenn-L web page. I think they have plans or a kit for a wooden rowing rig to drop into a shell. JD

I don't think they sell plans, but maybe this can serve as inspiration.

If you are interested in forward facing oar hardware, contact Calhoun Boat Works, Route 1, Box 440, Tiptonville, TN 38079. I am using two sets of their cast iron hardware on my boats and am very pleased. They have been installing them on their famous "reelfoot lake" wooden boats for many years.
