Same here!
Those oyster dishes sound good to me.
I moved away from the coast 20 years ago and I find myself craving oysters.
May have to take a trip down there this winter during oyster season.
My best wishes to you!

I am making pork roast porcetta, Italian stuffed artichokes, zucchini 'pasta', bruschetta, salad w/mustard vinaigrette, pumpkin pie. Vino.

I do a very simple Christmas dinner - on the 26th this year.

Fresh biała kiełbasa (not smoked)
Kapusta kiszona and traditional polish kapusta
Pierogi (two varieties from Alexandra's, and two that my daughter is making this year)
Five cup fruit salad
My daughter's BF is baking a pie, and
Makowiec
Maybe another veggie, like green beans or broccoli.

And... Merry Christmas, Glen.

Gobbledygook dishes there, Fred!;)
Merry Christmas to you and your family, my friend!

Wow - close match. Got 1-3 exactly, drop the rest - but add homemade eggnog, champagne, local beers & a flourless chocolate torte.

The baklava sounds mighty good!

I said "a very simple" dinner. I don't have the patience to make good Gołąbki.

Haven't seen any of your posts for a while.

May you have enjoyed your very simple dinner (sometimes they are the absolute best).

Oh and a Merry Christmas to you and your family.
