I usually receive the magazine about the 15th, but haven't yet. Have others got theirs?

Kevin.

In the past I've let my subscription lapse and just bought it at the supermarket but with the recent additions to the website for subscribers I think I'll keep renewing.

Just picked it up at the local supermarket. It touched a nerve. I should have started building boats twenty years ago.

O well.

I re-subscribed last year after probably a 25 year hiatus. Started with a few issues off the newsstand at West Marine, about the same time I started lurking on the WBF.
I am pleased to say..this little magazine has more than kept up with the times, the content is going more than a fair measure to define the scene now.
That Jon Wilson has been at the helm all these years is wonderful and amazing, I still remember fondly the first few issues.. But, with survival and experience has come breadth, beauty, and sophistication.
This current issue I particularly liked the Arctic veteran schooner Bowdoin rebuild, the "brake drum forge piece and galvanized hardware endorsement ... Plus the celebration and recognition that Wilson is receiving in a biographical DVD, is long overdue...!
