While surfing a Brazilian web site I found this picture.
Does anyone in the group speak Potugese?
Anyway, it looks like a neat little air-cooled diesel inboard.

Our Portugese here is a bit rusty, but that looks like Cooling system: Freshwater with heat exchanger.

These motors of BM series are suited for all purpose energy font to move small mills, pump stations and any agrary aplication. One horizontal cilinder.
The photo shows the marine version. Water cooled.
There are 3 models: 9hp; 12hp and 18hp.
Any specific question?

Peter, I searched Yanmar marine engins on the web but couldn't find what you posted here.
Maybe it isn't marine.

Look up Lister-Petter, a British marine engine builder. They have 2,3, and 4 cylinder diesels in small sizes and some are aircooled.
