Bending Teak

I have a 10" X 8' long teak board that is 3/4" thick. I need to fasten it to the sides of my Cape Dory cockpit. The board needs about a 2" bend in the middle. That is too much to ask of the screws that hold the board in place. Is there a way to introduce the bend into the board?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Support it on the ends and load it with what ever is at hand until it has the bend you want, keep it wet for a few days, unload it and see how it looks. A two inch bend in ten feet isn't much.
