Recently I was searching for a decent set of 12 inch long drill bits, mainly looking for generic bits that were for steel and everything else; however, I came across a great deal on e-bay for a set of brad point bits (7 bits in the set) that were 12 inches in length... It turned out that for the cost of $9.99 plus $9.00 shipping you really get three sets...ie., 21 bits for a little under $20.00.
I was pleasantly surprized needless to say. The 7 bits in a set range in size from 1/8" thru 1/2" and of course are made in china. So far they seem decent quality and I have had a couple of guys try to talk me out of the extra sets. I think I will hang on to at least two of these set of bits.
