Google pops up a boat load of links on "yacht flags" (no quotes).

Gee, Scott, in this age of plastic you're looking for a wool ensign for your wooden yacht.

I always thought you were hard-core! tongue.gif

Good for you!

What size are you looking for, Scott? I've done some "Googleing" and calling around a bit, and the smallest "natural" fabric flags I could find were cotton. 2 x 3 feet and up, I belive. There IS a product that while made of Nylon "looks" kind of natural and is "sewn" rather than printed. (ICK!) I'm gonna be calling my supplier tommorow and I'll ask for the particulars. Let us know if find a source for proper woolen flags. 'Specially in smaller sizes!

I spent all of that time restoring the original mahogany flag staff for Patience, I figure she deserves the best flag.

I did the Googling before I posted. The only sources I found were for large flags--nothing small enough for a 30 foot boat.

There are some suppliers of wool yacht flags in the UK, but they don't have American flags, not even courtesy flags.

Thanks, Ken. I'll try calling those folks.
