The replica is 75 feet on deck and draught of 7'6''. the original was probably smaller. It's a great idea Phillip

That could be fun. I remember the first time that I went to the New Bedford Whaling Museum and toured the scale model of "Lagoda". It was very cool and I was about that age.

It would be tough to go to sea, especially when not many, or as far as you know no one, had gone before, in a vessel that size. Major courage.
