Hi all, wondering if anyone might have any info. or know of any boats by BADGER BOAT CORPORATION, located at Black Creek, Wisconsin.

I know they made wooden laptrake and apparently some fiberglass models. They were established in 1964 by George Verhagen. He had previously been vice president and co-owner of Carver Boat Corp. at nearby Pulaski.

Badger went belly up just a few years after they started.

I am looking for basically anything to help in my research and writing endeavors.

Andreas ......I think it's great the work you're doing. Preserving the history of the local boatbuilders helps keep the boats alive and really assists those who wish to restore them.

Tom Korocnay's website inspired me to attempt a Lyman boat restoration.
