I cannot stay up to watch that game. I have to be up at 4:30am.

But I expect the Seahawks to spank the Packers.

7-3 Packer's!! Earl Thomas needs to learn to use the fair catch if he's going to run back punts.

10-10 , how Bobby Wagner ran 40 yards down field to cover a wide receiver is one thing easy to see why he had to take the pass interference call.

TD SEAHAWKS !!! Extra point is good, 10-17 HAWKS

Tipped ball INT for the Hawks , ball on GB 15 or so. Maxwell gets the INT.

Should have gone to Lynch on 1st and goal.

Paul Girouard

Must be trying to test the short pass game??

L.W. Baxter

Well, hawks do have well deserved confidence in the variety of the offense.

But, I think to secure the win, make the Packers stop Lynch, if they can.

Desperation call by Mcarthy???

Paul Girouard

Ya I agree inside the 20 I'd like to see Lynch get the ball on first down, see what that brings .

Not sure why the Pack went for that on 4t down , or why they think they could run no huddle in the Clink!

If Harvin stays healthy all season the Hawks repeat.

Safety for Hawks 10-22 near the end of 3rd qtr. Sack lead to Roger's fumble into end zone.

Wilson better stay healthy too.

Paul Girouard

L.W. Baxter

Lynch on 1st and goal, td. That's what I'm talking about.

Paul Girouard

Wilson better stay healthy too.

Yes, and Lynch! BUT Harvin is just a huge difference maker , which he showed last season V Vikings , then in the SB. Had he played V. 49'er in the game near the end of the season which the Hawks won IIRC , by a slim margin, it would have been more like this games score.

Pack pulled a good drive out get 6 , go for two and fail. 16-29 Hawks , under ten minutes to go in the game.

Paul Girouard

4th and one Hawks go for it , short pass to Colemen who runs it in for six, EP is good, 16-36 HAWKS!

L.W. Baxter

Pass to the fullback for the td. That's rubbing it in.

Paul Girouard

Not too shabby a start, by gum. Not shabby at all.

That jet sweep that Harvin runs is killer.

A glum and reticent Aaron Rodgers after the game interview was pretty succinct. When asked were did the Packers come up short, he tersely replied, " on the scoreboard ". :-)

Next.

This thread is great.

I couldn't stay up to watch the game last night, but now reading this I'm screwing my smug-face on even tighter after a little office debate yesterday on whether GB would be able to score enough to come even CLOSE to the 6-point handicap projected for the game.

smug smug smug. that's me.

(nothing against GB, just a lot of faith in Seattle D, I picked them on both of my fantasy teams)
