It should be used as a warning not to throw out buckets, cans or jars without lids. Animals are curious!

Spot on Jamie. Especially containers narrower at the top than the bottom. Lots of little critters caught in Yoplait containers, for example.

I don't throw trash out and even if I did, there are few critters to get into them... just the same, I crush can tops and the like to prevent animals from sticking their heads into them... it's easy to do and silly not to bother just because of some sort of laziness.

I even do it in the house. I have cats and they leave the trash alone... but that doesn't mean it would never occure to them

Winnie?

Very good. A bear of little brain.

Seriously, they were very brave to hassle a bear, even a small one. They are very strong.

It's pretty sad that the Volunteers succeeded when the game commission could not. What are these people paid for?

Good job. The bear must have been weak from hunger to be subdued so easily.

some game and fish organization work for hunters, fishermen and outdoorsmen in general... some work for the political powers of the state... In my state, the fish and game is self supporting though there have been many attempts to re-direct funds to the general fund and thus to political control... so far we have defeated such cash grabs.

May on occasion but, not usually. Yes, they are lic. through he state! That's about all! I can't think the state will allow someone to d what these people did excep they did't have an option! It's too dangerous!
