The Atlanta High Museum of Art has an exhibit of "Dream Cars". Various concept cars. One that I thought folks might be interested in is:

The interesting part is that the car is covered in a fabric stretched over a frame.

It is a really interesting exhibit and had several cars I would buy today. After all who could resist a Chrysler Thunderbolt

That is an excellent bit of design and I really like the fabric covering , very 20s !!

IIRC, the BMW GINA was in Machine Design Magazine - it not only was an SOF car, it was also a shape-shifting vehicle. The frame was designed in such a way as to be able to change it's physical appearance.
