i'm trying to contact traditional marine outiftters in nova scotia to get strap-type gudgeons and pintles and a few odds and ends...i emailed them, but no answer...and their online catalogue--which isn't very online-friendly (though i'm sure they themselves are)--doesn't have their phone number!

anyone got their number?

thanks!

Chill. It's Friday. You only have to wait until Monday. Hey, you speak pretty good Canuck. As the Duke would say.

No, you'll probably have to wait until Tuesday. Long weekend across the country. More of our excellent British heritage at work (a traditional "bank holiday" weekend). If not for those guys up in Boston, you could be having Monday off too.

As for the other, you forgot Closed during August which would delay your hardware buying until September. Assuming no general strikes to the contrary.

Remember, it's a labor of love. "You can't hurry love." I don't care how gorgeous the cypress is, the boat will be done when it gets done!

Wait a minute. I've been tricked. Contact info in under an hour complete with toll free phone number and NO PICTURES! That's it. No more help from me.

How could you be building a boat with traditional fittings and want it NOW? I thought traditionalists were laid back. Man, haul the main in, come about and leave the jib sheet to windward. Relax for a bit, man.

Frank

P.S. And have a homebrew while you're waiting.

Now, on the other hand, someone in Yarmouth NS informed me that at some time in the past Canad voted whether to join the USA or not. The vote was not by a whole two (2). This is not a comment for to or for not.

I reckon you could do better than that if you had an Alaska referendum on leaving the U.S. Especially if Anchorage was not included.

Frank

P.S. Oops. I guess this is bilge talk.
