Hello All. I have just recieved a Wagermaker Wolverine, But know nothing about it. The boat is 15' cedar lap side and bottom but plywood deck. I feel the boat has been modified, I think it was a 2 seat with single cockpit and a front deck, and has been modified to a 3 seat with a console and front deck the steering is older than the boat (throttle in the center). I was able to get an ad on the Wagemaker from 1949 and then the ad says over 50 different models?? I guess my question was this plywood deck standard would like to restore original. Any input greatly appreciated Dean

There is plenty of info. out there on Wagemaker boats. Try "The Real Runabouts" series of books by Mr. Bob Speltz. Probably Volume IV with outboard boat data. These books are readily available at many public libraries. Check with your local chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society (www.acbs.org), as there are about 100 of these boats listed in the ACBS directory. Wagemaker was located at Grand Rapids, MI.

If you do a search on E-Bay you will find 1 or 2 of these boats for sale. I don't have the links but I saw them recently. Might answer a question or 2.
